Your World is looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to work within an outstanding mental health hospital in Bristol on a locum basis, working 3 days per week.

You will be joining an exciting and motivated team within a successful mental health hospital in the fantastic area of Bristol.

As an experienced Clinical Psychologist in Bristol, they will be committed to providing the highest levels of care to patients, providing an experience that contributes to the facility's already sterling reputation. They will understand how to work with patients from all backgrounds, catering to their specific needs with professionalism and confidence at all times.

To take on this OT role, the right candidate must be a fully qualified and have full HCPC registration.

Duties:

-  Receive and respond promptly to referrals

- Conduct specialist psychological assessments and develop effective therapy plans

- Deliver individual and group therapy using appropriate, evidence-based interventions

- Manage an allocated caseload within agreed timescales

- Maintain regular communication with clients, MDT members, and clinical staff

- Keep accurate, up-to-date clinical records, reports, and electronic documentation

- Present and share relevant client information at MDT meetings

- Provide specialist psychological interventions and standard care plans

- Offer specialist advice, consultation, and guidance to other professionals

- Exercise autonomous responsibility for assessment, treatment, and discharge

- Administer psychometric tests and other evidence-based assessments

- Undertake risk assessment and risk management

- Provide clinical supervision to an Assistant Psychologist
