In this role, you will become a stable professional for patients navigating chronic kidney disease. By balancing the intricate technical requirements of haemodialysis with a deeply empathetic approach to patient care, you will enable your patients to maintain their quality of life while receiving life-sustaining treatment.
The Impact You’ll Make:
- Clinical Delivery: Expertly monitor patient fluid balance and laboratory values while conducting thorough assessments of renal function.
- Technical Excellence: Operate and maintain advanced dialysis machinery to ensure the safe and efficient removal of waste products and excess fluids.
- Quality & Compliance: Adhere to strict NMC standards and infection control protocols to ensure clinical safety within the dialysis unit.
- Operational Success: Collaborate with nephrologists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans and optimise long-term treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of NHS or relevant UK experience in a clinical setting.
- Credentials: A valid nursing degree and current NMC registration are essential.
- Logistics: Must have the right to work in the UK and provide valid UK references.
