Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £26 P/H

The Role

• Conduct mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs and diagnoses

• Develop individualised care plans and treatment strategies for patients in the community

• Provide counselling, psychotherapy, and support to individuals with mental health conditions

• Administer and monitor psychotropic medications, educating patients about their use and side effects

• Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques during mental health emergencies

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, social workers, and community resources to coordinate care

• Advocate for patients' rights and access to appropriate mental health services

• Educate patients, families, and the community about mental health issues, prevention, and available resources

• Conduct home visits and community outreach to provide care in familiar environments

• Monitor and assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to promote recovery and well-being

Nursing Requirements

• NMC registration

• 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting

• Right to work in the UK
