As a vital member of the Acute Paediatrics team, you will translate your clinical expertise into life-changing outcomes for patients aged 0-16 within a fast-paced hospital environment.
The Impact You’ll Make
Clinical Delivery: Lead comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans for a diverse caseload, including respiratory, orthopaedic, and neurological conditions.
Technical Excellence: Utilise advanced therapeutic techniques to manage childhood pain and musculoskeletal disorders, ensuring interventions are age-appropriate and evidence-based.
Quality & Compliance: Maintain rigorous clinical standards in alignment with HCPC guidelines and Trust protocols to ensure the highest level of patient safety.
Operational Success: Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to manage high-volume workloads and streamline patient discharge pathways.
Requirements:
Experience: Relevant experience specifically within an Acute Paediatrics setting, with UK Right to Work.
Credentials: Valid Physiotherapy degree (BSc or MSc) and full, active HCPC registration.
Logistics: Ability to commence the role within 1-2 weeks and commit to a minimum three-month placement.
