Location: Hybrid – Glasgow (minimum one day per week in-office)Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum, pro rata (based on a 37.5-hour week)

Role Overview
We are seeking fully qualified Counsellors or Psychotherapists to join a leading digital healthcare provider. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated EAP Clinical Team focused on providing high-quality, accessible mental health support.
As an EAP Telephone Counsellor, you will be the first point of contact for clients, conducting clinical triage and delivering brief interventions. This role is ideal for practitioners who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a blend of assessment, risk management, and structured therapeutic support.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Triage: Conduct initial clinical assessments to identify client needs and determine the most appropriate clinical pathway.
Direct Support: Deliver "in the moment" support, booked assessments, and single-session therapy via telephone or video.
Caseload Management: Maintain a caseload of clients for structured counselling sessions, tailored to service requirements and your contracted hours.
Risk & Safeguarding: Perform robust risk assessments and strictly adhere to established safeguarding protocols.
Clinical Documentation: Ensure all interactions are recorded through brief, accurate, and professional clinical notes.
Team Integration: Work collaboratively as an integral member of the Support Line Team.
Requirements & Qualifications
Professional Status: Qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Level 4 or above) with current BACP, COSCA, or equivalent professional registration.
Clinical Expertise: A strong clinical background with refined assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions while maintaining professional boundaries.
Technical Proficiency: Competent IT skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Resilience: Ability to manage a busy workload and remain calm under pressure.
Experience (Desirable): Prior experience in EAP, telephone counselling, or time-limited assessment within a corporate setting is advantageous, though full training is provided.
Working Patterns
We offer flexible shift patterns and are currently looking for individuals to work 3 or 4 shifts per week (minimum 22.5 hours).
Available shifts include:
Afternoons/Evenings: 16:00 – 00:00 (Remote)
Night Shift: 00:00 – 06:00 (Remote – paid at time and a half)
Weekends: Permanent weekend shifts available for those seeking specific work-life balance (Remote)
