Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Working Arrangement: Office-based initially, with home working up to 2 days per week considered once fully trained and when undertaking suitable duties.
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for Recruitment Administrators (Band 3) and Recruitment Officers (Band 4) to support a busy recruitment function in Norwich. The successful candidates will provide efficient administrative and customer-focused support throughout the recruitment process, from vacancy creation through to pre-employment checks and arranging start dates.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft recruitment adverts for review and approval.
- Arrange interviews and communicate with applicants and hiring teams.
- Prepare conditional offer letters and complete pre-employment recruitment checks.
- Coordinate and confirm candidate start dates.
- Respond to recruitment enquiries by telephone, email and face to face.
- Provide support at in-person recruitment events.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation.
- Complete data entry and retrieve information relating to vacancies, applicants and colleagues.
- Use Electronic Staff Records (ESR) and applicant tracking systems such as TRAC.
- Provide a professional and responsive customer service to candidates and colleagues.
- Ensure recruitment administration is completed accurately and within required timescales.
Essential Experience
- Previous recruitment and/or customer service experience.
- Experience using applicant tracking or recruitment systems.
- Experience using staff record systems, ideally TRAC and ESR.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, target-driven environment.
- Confident dealing with candidates, colleagues and external contacts.
