Your World is currently looking to place a Band 6 / 7 Occupational Therapist with UK experience into a locum role in Brent.

Based in a fantastic community team in Brent, this position is ideal for an OT who needs a new challenge and wants to take their career to the next step. This position comes with the added bonus of working alongside an experienced team of healthcare professionals.

Your role will be to  undertake holistic Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions within the community, supporting patients to maximise their independence and achieve positive functional outcomes.

This will include community-based assessment and  rehabilitation for patients with a variety of medical diagnoses. You must be able to work autonomously, making specialist clinical decisions, with support provided through the MDT, including a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist and Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist. Therapists. Experience of falls, rehabilitation and elderly care or neurology is advantageous, together with a working knowledge of community equipment provision.

Clinicians will manage a defined caseload across the lifetime of the project, working towards agreed project outcomes and maintaining high standards of clinical documentation and patient care.

The ideal candidate for this role will have plenty of experience in UK Occupational Therapy positions and the desire to progress their career even further. You must possess a confident but friendly nature, plus the ability to work with patients from a range of age groups and backgrounds. As your patients will have different requirements, you must be willing to adapt your methods to match their specific needs. You must be highly organised and motivated to achieve the best outcome for your patients.

Requirements

• Full OT qualifications

• HCPC registration

• UK Occupational Therapy experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication
