Pay Rates: Up to £28 per hour Umbrella or £25 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay

JOB SUMMARY
The role is focused on ensuring the institute operates effectively, delivers strategic objectives, manages resources efficiently, and maintains strong stakeholder relationships. Key responsibilities could include:
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support development and delivery of the Data Institute's strategic plan.
- Translateorganisationalpriorities into operational workprogrammes.
- Identifyopportunities for growth, collaboration, and innovation.
- Monitor progress against strategicobjectivesand key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare business cases and investment proposals.
- Oversee the coordination and delivery of the institute's portfolio of projects.
- Ensure projects align withorganisationaland stakeholder priorities.
- Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, andbenefitsrealisation.
- Supportprogrammegovernance arrangements and reporting.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure value for money.
- Identifyand secure funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
- Build andmaintainrelationships with key stakeholders across health, academia, government, industry, and professional bodies.
- Act as a liaison between analytics andleadershipteams.
- Support partnership agreements and collaborative working arrangements.
- Ensure compliance withorganisational, regulatory, and data governance requirements.
- Support governance boards, steering groups, and advisory committees.
- Develop policies, procedures, and operational frameworks.
- Coordinate reporting to sponsors, executives, and oversight bodies.
- Lead day-to-day business operations of the institute.
- Develop efficient business processes and ways of working.
- Monitororganisationalperformance and resourceutilisation.
- Ensure effective planning andprioritisationacross teams.
- Develop measures todemonstratethe value andimpactof the institute.
- Monitor outcomes from data, research, and innovation initiatives.

PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION
- University degreeORProfessional qualificationORAt least 2 years’ experience infast-paced environment(Health orGovernment would be ideal but not necessary)
- Good writtenskillsfor example business cases, proposals, bids, reports
- High levelinterpersonal & verbal communication skills
- Ability to set and work to agreed objectives
- Working across different teams/organisationsand types/levels of staff groups
