People Partner (HR Operations)

Hours / Working Days: 37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Hybrid role optical. 2 days onsite.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated People Partner to join the HR Operations team. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and teams across the organisation, providing professional HR advice and operational support across a broad range of people matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional with strong employee relations experience and the ability to support organisational change, workforce planning, and people management initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff across the organisation
- Support and manage employee relations cases including:
- Sickness absence
- Disciplinary matters
- Grievances
- Capability processes
- Recruitment-related issues
- Coach and support managers to strengthen leadership and people management capability
- Assist with organisational change programmes and workforce improvement projects
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation are applied consistently and effectively
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
- Produce, analyse, and interpret workforce data and HR metrics to support operational decision-making
- Support continuous improvement within HR Operations services
Person Specification
- Proven experience in a senior generalist HR role
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing complex employee relations matters
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a varied and demanding workload independently
- Confident advising and influencing managers at different levels
- Strong IT skills and experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications
- Degree in HR Management or equivalent relevant experience
- CIPD qualification or CIPD membership desirable
