Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join the Human Resources team based at Salisbury District Hospital.
The successful candidate will provide professional HR employee relations support to managers across the organisation, advising on a wide range of workforce matters and ensuring cases are managed fairly, consistently, and in line with NHS policies and employment legislation.
This is a hybrid role offering a combination of onsite and remote working.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
- Support and advise on:
- Disciplinary cases
- Grievance procedures
- Sickness absence management
- Performance management
- Ensure HR cases are managed in accordance with Trust policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Assist managers with investigations, hearings, and formal meetings.
- Maintain accurate case records and HR documentation.
- Support the delivery of a positive employee experience through effective people management practices.
- Work collaboratively with HR colleagues and operational managers to resolve workforce issues efficiently.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within a Human Resources Employee Relations role.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations processes and employment legislation.
- Experience advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, sickness, and performance cases.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- NHS experience desirable.
