HR Administrator Advisor – Band 3

Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour PAYE (Holiday Pay Inclusive)
Duration: 2 months
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Full-Time Monday-Friday 37.5 hours
Working Pattern: Hybrid - attendance at the workplace once every fortnight is required
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Band 3 HR Advisor to join the Human Resources team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive HR professional to support the delivery of a high-quality HR service, providing advice and administrative support across a busy HR function. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and HR colleagues to ensure efficient and professional people services are delivered across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Support the administration of a wide range of HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee information, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Organise HR meetings, hearings, interviews and panels, preparing documentation where required.
- Update and maintain HR databases and electronic personnel records.
- Produce reports, monitoring information and audit data as requested.
- Respond to HR enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face in a professional and timely manner.
- Support recruitment, job evaluation and Agenda for Change processes.
- Assist with HR projects and service improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies, NHS employment legislation and data protection requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within an HR or administrative environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Experience prioritising a busy workload and working to deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Previous NHS or public sector HR experience.
- Knowledge of Agenda for Change terms and conditions.
- Experience using HR systems such as ESR or similar workforce systems.
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
