Medication Safety Officer & Lead Pharmacist – Learning Disability Services
Band 8a | Full Time | Chelmsford (Trust-wide travel required)
We're recruiting on behalf of our NHS client for an experienced Medication Safety Officer & Lead Pharmacist to provide clinical leadership across Learning Disability Services and lead medication safety initiatives across the Trust.
The Role
- Lead medication safety and medicines optimisation across the Trust.
- Manage pharmacy services for Learning Disability Services.
- Investigate medication incidents and drive quality improvement.
- Provide expert clinical advice to multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop medicines policies, guidelines and staff training.
- Support patient-centred pharmacy services across inpatient and community settings.
About You
- GPhC registered pharmacist.
- Significant clinical pharmacy experience, ideally within mental health or learning disabilities.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about patient safety and service improvement.
