This Microbiology BMS Dundee position is suitable for a qualified Biomedical Scientist to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £32 - £33 P/H.

  Location: Bacteriology Laboratory, Ninewells

  Duration: ASAP for 6 months

  Description: Experienced Specialist Biomedical Scientist to cover specific tasks within the Bacteriology laboratory.

  Essential experience: Processing of positive Blood cultures Storage of isolates on beads Processing organisms for EUCAST Processing organisms for Vitek

  Reading of urines using chromogenic agar

  Desirable experience: Use of Winpath enterprise Laboratory IT system Use of BacTAlert / Virtuo Vitek MS Prime

  Vitek 2 AST

  SHIFTS Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
