This Biomedical Science position is suitable for a qualified Blood Sciences BMS Stornoway to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £32 - £34 P/H.

Beneficial criteria to help be successful in this BMS role include the following:

• Blood Sciences 
  • Day to day working in Blood Sciences covering all routine bench work. Work includes using both automated (Roche Cobas 6000, Beckman DxH 800, Sysmex CA 660) and manual techniques including blood films.
  • Maintaining communications with other departments and Lead Biomedical Scientist for Blood Sciences and Blood Transfusion.
  • Stock maintenance
  • Other duties consistent with those of a Specialist Biomedical Scientist 

• Morphology Experience required

• Accommodation available on site

• HCPC Registration

• Able to be paid via PAYE or Umbrella company

• This role requires prior experience in a UK-based laboratory relevant to the post

• Biomedical Science Background

• Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
