Overview

We are looking for a Pharmacist with Independent Prescribing Qualifications to join a clinical team. You will be joining a team of Pharmacist Independent Prescribers, a specialist nurse and consultant endocrinologist, overseen by their Clinical Lead. You will primarily be working with their internal team – including technicians, dispensers, healthcare assistants, and pharmacists – but will also collaborate widely with external partners. You’ll be actively involved in their Weight Management & Obesity service, which includes the prescribing of Semaglutide (Wegovy) and Tirzepatide (Mounjaro), and you’ll work alongside allied healthcare professionals such as dietitians, psychologists, and health coaches. This is an exciting opportunity to work across some of the most innovative and cutting-edge services available in the UK, whilst gaining valuable experience in a multidisciplinary, patient-centred environment, including as part of an NHS Tier 3 specialist weight management service.

Requirements

● Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council

● Minimum 2 years experience as a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber
