Your World Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist for work on a permanent  basis. You will be joining an outstanding set-up within a well-known nationwide Functional Assessment organisation. The annual salary for this role is £38000 - £48000 P/Y all-inclusive.

The Role

As a Functional Assessor, you’ll play a vital part in assessing individuals applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessments (WCA) under the DWP’s Health Assessment & Advisory Services (HAAS). You will:

• Conduct consultations via telephone, video or in‑person.
• Evaluate a variety of health conditions and impairments.
• Produce fair, accurate and high‑quality assessment reports using our IT system.
• Work autonomously, while benefiting from structured support and professional development.
• Only assess for either PIP or WCA (you will be assigned one; training provided).

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months’ post‑registration experience as one of the following: Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, or Occupational Therapist.
• Active registration with the relevant professional body (NMC, HCPC, or GPhC).
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to write precise and impartial reports.
