Your World is currently looking to place a Band 7 Occupational Therapist with UK experience into a permanent role in Caerphilly.

Based in a fantastic low secure hospital in Caerphilly offering recovery focused, occupation centred care within a supportive and well resourced environment, this position is ideal for an OT who needs a new challenge and wants to take their career to the next step. This position comes with the added bonus of working alongside an experienced team of healthcare professionals.

As a well equipped therapeutic hub, you’ll have access to a range of high quality resources including:

•    Art rooms

•    Sensory room

•    Fully equipped kitchens

•    On site gym 

These spaces support meaningful, occupation based interventions tailored to individual recovery journeys.

Collaborative, multidisciplinary practice OT is a valued part of the MDT. You’ll work closely with psychology, nursing, psychiatry, social work, and the Recovery College, ensuring holistic, person centred care.

Are you the right OT?

The ideal candidate for this role will have plenty of experience in UK Occupational Therapy positions and the desire to progress their career even further. You must possess a confident but friendly nature, plus the ability to work with patients from a range of age groups and backgrounds. As your patients will have different requirements, you must be willing to adapt your methods to match their specific needs. You must be highly organised and motivated to achieve the best outcome for your patients.

Requirements

• Full OT qualifications

• HCPC registration

• Occupational Therapy experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication
