Last week on 22nd and 23rd April, our Pharmacy team headed out to The Clinical Pharmacy Congress at the Excel Centre in London. It was our first time at the event and as the largest gathering for the clinical pharmacy profession in the country, the team were keen to show pharmacists how Your World can benefit them.

If you visited us over on stand E31, you will have met our three pharmacy recruitment consultants and perhaps noticed the amazing cartoon of them, masterfully created by one of our in-house graphic designers! The cartoon’s banner stated that if you could guess the collective age of our pharmacy team, you’d be entered into our prize draw to win a European city break for two! We can now announce that the collective age was 83 years and 11 months old! Did you get it right? You may be our lucky winner!

Today we sat down with the Pharmacy team to find out how they felt the congress went. Recruitment consultant, Sean Brown, said:

‘The venue was amazing. It was so well laid out, which made finding all of the stands really easy. We already knew many of our existing candidates would be attending and looked forward to seeing them, but it was good to know that new pharmacists could find us and speak to us directly.’

We asked Sean what his favourite part of the conference was…

‘My favourite part was definitely meeting people we speak to on a regular basis face to face. It was also really eye-opening to see our competitors and how we differ from them. It was great seeing how we stood out and the effect it had on our registrations.’
