Working days and hours: Ad Hoc Shifts 7am-7.30pm & 7.30am-6.30pm

Pay Rate: £12.21 

Band: 2 

Duties  

 Kitchen Assistant duties 

• Regeneration of food, this means reheating frozen cooked food for patients 
  • Organising frozen food to be heated  
  • Serving patients with their food 
  • Unloading food deliveries 
  • Organising the food storeroom 
  • Washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls 
  • following food safety and hygiene regulations in food premises 
  • General cleaning of the kitchen and related areas 

Requirements 

• Previous Kitchen Assistant experience within healthcare  
• Previous cleaning experience
