The post holder works as part of a virtual team of Clinical Physiologists (CP) providing an echocardiography and associated cardiac physiology service at a fantastic Hospital. As well as working closely with colleagues (e.g. with Consultants, Specialist Nurses, GPs, wider diagnostics services) the CP will have links with the NHS Grampian Cardiac Physiology Department. The post holder is highly skilled, experienced and accredited in performing and reporting Echocardiograms.
At this level of post the post holder will have previous experience in a wide range of less specialised areas of Cardiology techniques and will have chosen to specialise in the more complex and skilled areas of Echocardiography. As well as performing a clinical role the post holder will also be involved in training and supervision of other staff who may be undertaking training e.g. echo or ambulatory devices.

Echocardiographer Requirements
Clinical Physiology Degree
Experience scanning and reporting echocardiograms
BSE accreditation is preferred (equivalents are recognised)
Eligibility to work in the UK
