Support Worker Band 4

Your World is currently seeking an experienced Band 4 Support Worker for work on a locum basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known Community Service in Antrim.

Who are we looking for?

The Community Living Support Worker will be primarily responsible for assisting social work managers in the provision of quality social work services to young people within the leaving and after care service. You will work within a Children’s Services Team and will undertake tasks allocated by the Social Work Team Manager to support social workers in the discharge of their duties. The Community Living Support Worker will also be expected to ensure continuing professional development through training, supervision and learning in line with NISCC registration requirements

Requirements

• NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 3 in a care-related subject and 1 years’ experience working in a social care role

  OR

  NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 in a care-related subject and 2 years’ experience working in a social care role

  OR

  4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) and 3 years’ experience working in a social care role.

  *For those who do not hold Level 3, should be willing to complete Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care Support
