Occupational Therapist

Your World is currently looking to place a Band 6 OT with UK experience into a locum role in Kingston upon Thames.

Based in a fantastic Rehabilitation centre in Kingston upon Thames, this position is ideal for an OT to develop and highly maintain specialist Occupational Therapy (OT) services leading on planning, development, and evaluation of OT services, ensuring a consistently high standard of assessment, treatment planning and documentation. To assess and treat own caseload of people using our services and to maintain own records as an autonomous practitioner. Manage a varied caseload of people using our services including supporting those with Acquired Brain Injury, complex long-term disability and general rehabilitation using evidence based, person centered principles to assess, clinically reason, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.

Are you the right OT?

The ideal candidate for this role will have plenty of experience in UK Occupational Therapy positions and the desire to progress their career even further. You must possess a confident but friendly nature, plus the ability to work with patients from a range of age groups and backgrounds. As your patients will have different requirements, you must be willing to adapt your methods to match their specific needs. You must be highly organised and motivated to achieve the best outcome for your patients.

Requirements

• Full OT qualifications

• HCPC registration

• UK Occupational Therapy experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Neuro experience required
