To be the perfect candidate for this OT job, you will need to be a fully qualified Occupational Therapist with a degree in OT and previous experience in a similar role within the UK.

Not only will you be confident and skilled in your trade, but you will also possess a kind, friendly and positive nature. You will be comfortable working with patients of all types from a variety of backgrounds.

The perfect candidate will be motivated to continue the outstanding reputation of the team and facility.

Requirements:

·      Working with Adults with disabilities.

·      Undertaking therapy assessments and support planning.

·      Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills – possible experience in using picture communication tools.

·      Promoting Independence and supporting people to maximise their independence through, advice, information, rehabilitation, practice of task and provision of aids and adaptations.

·      Working in a multidisciplinary team.

·      Record keeping and assessment writing.

·      Understanding of adult social care and health legislations E.g. Care Act 2014, Manual handling regulations 1992, Health and Safety at Work Act 1947
