Job Title: Chef
Starting: ASAP
Duration: 4 weeks, could be longer
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm - no weekends required
Pay: £13.68ph PAYE Inclusive of Holiday Pay
Location: North London
Duties:
Prepare, cook, and present meals for patients, staff, and visitors according to NHS dietary standards and menus.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness in compliance with HACCP, COSHH, and food safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and receiving food supplies, ensuring correct storage and stock rotation.
Record food temperatures, fridge/freezer temperatures, and cleaning schedules in accordance with audit requirements.
Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly.
Ensure meals are delivered on time to wards and other service areas.
Essential Knowledge:

- Principles and benefits of Healthy Eating.
- Knowledge of dietary and nutritional requirements
Desirable Experience:
- Working for the NHS in a similar role
- 1 year recent experience within a chef role
