Project Support Officer
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday - Friday
Pay: £13.68 - £14 PAYE Inclusive of Holiday pay
Location: Bristol – Hybrid working
Role Summary We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Support Officer to provide administrative and project support across a range of healthcare programmes. The role involves working collaboratively within a team, as well as managing aspects of work independently, to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on time. You will play a key role in supporting innovation, evaluation, and improvement initiatives across health and care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to a variety of programmes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, meeting notes, schedules, and risk registers.
- Support project progress by tracking milestones, escalating risks, and assisting with evaluation activities.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, including preparing agendas, materials, and minutes.
- Use systems such as MS Office, project management tools (e.g. Verto 365), and CRM software (e.g. Zoho) to support delivery.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement, communications, and preparation of project updates and reports.
- Contribute to wider organisational priorities and provide cover for colleagues when required.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using project management or specialist IT systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in a project support, administrative, or healthcare-related role is desirable but not essential.
