Overview
Your Medical Services are recruiting for a Patient Booking & Reception Administrator to support services at James Paget Hospital. This role involves a mixture of patient booking and front-of-house reception duties within a busy NHS setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring clinics run smoothly and patients receive professional and efficient support.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking and scheduling patient appointments in line with clinic availability
- Greeting patients and managing reception desk duties
- Handling inbound and outbound calls professionally
- Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
- Liaising with clinical teams regarding appointment changes
- Supporting patient flow within clinic environments
- Responding to general patient queries
- Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with NHS data standards

- Previous experience in an administrative, reception, or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
