Pharmacist – Oncology/Haematology (Private Sector, Maidstone)

Location: Maidstone Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Your World is currently seeking an experienced Pharmacist with a strong background in Oncology and Haematology to join a leading private healthcare provider based in Maidstone. This is an exciting locum opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to make an impact in a specialist clinical environment.

While full-time hours are preferred, the service is open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense and manage medicines within a hospital environment

• Screen and verify Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) prescriptions

• Support medicine management processes and ensure compliance with best practice

• Provide expert patient counselling and clinical advice

• Participate in clinical audits, research, and the development of protocols

• Contribute to effective stock control and ensure accurate recording of patient drug histories

• Communicate clearly and professionally with multidisciplinary teams

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in Oncology and Haematology pharmacy

• Previous hospital-based experience

• Proficiency in electronic prescribing systems

• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and planning skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
