This Senior Microbiology BMS Huddersfield position is suitable for a qualified Biomedical Scientist to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £31 P/H.

Beneficial criteria to help be successful in this BMS role include the following:

• Microbiology

• Bacteriology – All benches covered

• Pathology Contractor - Microbiology EPR-WinPath Order Comms Integration

   

  KSE:

  •             Expert knowledge and experience of working as a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology.

  •             Expert knowledge of developing and testing Clinisys WinPath LIMS

  •             Expert knowledge of developing and testing Oracle/Cerner Millennium Order Comms.

  •             Proven ability to lead on UAT of EPR to WPE Order Comms solution in Microbiology

  •             Experience change management and working in compliance with ISO15189

   

  Key tasks:

  •             Lead on integration of Oracle/Cerner Millennium - Order Comms integration with WinPath LIMS for Microbiology.

  •             Review/testing of existing Micro EPR Order Catalogue

  •             Identify required changes in EPR to facilitate integration to WPE  (Micro)

  •             Identify required changes in EPR to facilitate integration with Wasp Lab Automation (Micro)

  •             Build and configure EPR to facilitate integration to WPE (Micro)

  •             Perform and document user acceptance testing of Micro EPR Order Catalogue.

  •             Lead on change management and QMS/ISO15189 requirements.

  •             Effectively liaise between multiple trusts with competing priorities.

   

  3 months initially please.
