Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist
Your World has a brilliant new opportunity for an experienced Band 7 Early Years Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with postgraduate experience working with paediatrics.
The SLT will have the following experience:
Significant experience at post-graduate level working with children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
Extensive experience of working in partnership with education staff in early years/school settings supporting children with a range of needs
Extensive experience at post-graduate level of using, analysing and reporting findings from a variety of tests and formal/informal assessments
Extensive experience of delivering specialist training which might include accredited packages such as Elklan, Makaton or Parent and setting coaching such as Early Bird /+.
Experience of supporting/managing Speech and Language Therapy and /or other health colleagues through line management, mentoring/coachingDescription:
You will join an experienced and highly motivated team in Ludlow. Pay rate ranging between £27 - £30 P/H per hour depending on experience.
The SLT we seek will have previously worked as a post-graduate therapist with paediatrics.
They will be encouraging, supportive, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter. The right candidate must also have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
Requirements:
An HCPC-approved degree in Speech and Language Therapy
Right to Work in the UK
Valid HCPC registration
Paediatric post-graduate experience
