Occupational Therapist

Your World is currently seeking an experienced  OT for work on a locum basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known Council in Derby.

Who are we looking for?

As a Band 6 OT, you will have the knowledge, skills and qualifications to take on the role. You must possess a kind, confident and motivated personality with the ability to communicate to an exceptional standard with both patients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Substantial local authority experience, major adaptations, DFG applications, manual handling assessments, Work under-pressure and effective time management.
• Skilled in OT assessment of needs with customers of various disability, experiences in assessing for specialist equipment and major adaptation; competent in assessing manual handling needs and familiar with manual handling equipment and technique; skilled in order equipment and special on Integrated community equipment service portal.
• Skilled in liaising with multi-agency and recording on electronic social care records.
